Sustainable Apparel Manufacturing
At Ragged Mountain Equipment, environmental stewardship is critical to all that we do. Our business relies on New Hampshire’s natural resources, and for that reason it is vital that we treat them like the treasures they are.
Over the years, we have made concerted efforts to positively impact the environment. These include the implementation of heat exchangers, switching over to environmentally friendly LED lighting, minimizing waste by diverting scrap materials, reusing packaging wherever possible, and utilizing less plastic packaging.
We are also proud to support local environmental organizations with time and treasure, including the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust and Tin Mountain Conservation Center.
While we agree this is a work in progress, we are always mindful of the ways in which we are able to limit our impact on the environment. We are eager to continue to find new ways to focus on these issues that are important to us, our customers, and most importantly, the land.
