How to Prepare Your Gear

Please contact our team prior to shipping or dropping off your items. To ensure we can properly fix your gear and keep our machines in top shape, we ask that you please:

01
Wash & Dry Completely: Dirt, sweat, and mountain grime destroy commercial sewing machinery. All apparel items must be recently laundered and clean.
02
Clear Out Pockets & Compartments: Please double-check and remove all loose cash, trail snacks, keys, and pocket debris before handing items over. You'd be surprised what we've found in pockets!
03
Isolate & Highlight the Damage: Use a piece of low-residue tape, chalk, or a safety pin to mark the exact area(s) requiring repair.

Climbing Gear Servicing Agreement & Liability Waiver

All cam re-slinging orders require a signed waiver prior to us starting work. You may complete and submit this online, or we have printed versions in our store.

1. SCOPE OF WORK

Full Send Outfitters, LLC (dba Ragged Mountain Equipment "RME"), as the Service Provider, agrees to perform textile replacement ("re-slinging") on the specific gear submitted by the individual listed below ("Customer.") RME will replace worn webbing using automated, heavy-duty bar-tacking techniques engineered to meet or exceed industry safety standards for textiles. RME uses only premium nylon tubular webbing featuring high-tensile strength (MBS rating of 3,000 lbs or higher) in a 5" open loop.

2. LIMITATION OF INSPECTION & WARRANTY

• No Hardware Inspection: The Customer acknowledges that this service is strictly limited to the sewing of new slings. The Service Provider does not test, inspect, or warrant the metal hardware, cam lobes, axles, internal springs, stems, or structural welds for microscopic fractures, fatigue, or defects.
• Customer Duty to Inspect: The Customer maintains sole and absolute responsibility for inspecting their gear prior to submission and continuously inspecting the structural integrity of the hardware before every flight or climb.

3. RIGHT OF REFUSAL & REJECTION POLICY

RME reserves the right to refuse service to any piece of equipment for any reason, including but not limited to: Gear that has been subject to a manufacturer recall; Gear featuring kinked stems, frayed main structural cables, or severely corroded metal; Vintage equipment or gear that was not originally manufactured with a factory-sewn textile sling. Note: Rejected gear will be returned at the Customer's expense or safely decommissioned and disposed of with explicit written customer consent.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & INDEMNITY

The Customer acknowledges that rock climbing, mountaineering, and related activities are inherently dangerous sports that carry an undeniable risk of severe injury or death. The Customer agrees that by utilizing this repair service, they are voluntarily choosing to reuse repaired personal safety equipment. The Customer agrees to Release, Waive, and Indemnify RME, its employees, and owners from any and all claims, liabilities, or lawsuits resulting from gear failure, accidents, injury, or death arising during the subsequent use of the serviced equipment.

5. SHIPPING, LOSS, AND DAMAGE CLAIMS

RME is not responsible for gear lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit (either to or from our facility). It is the Customer's sole responsibility to provide accurate shipping addresses, request signature delivery, and purchase adequate carrier insurance to cover the replacement value of the rack.
