Ragged Mountain's Saco Sun Hoody was designed as a light layer for when you need protection from the sun. The stretch- fabric is light and airy, with a UPF rating of 50, blocking 97.5% of uv rays. So, it's a great pullover for your summer float trip or beach barbecue. It packs amazingly small and light, but when things get chilly, the comfy hood--which can fit under a helmet--and thumbholes really seal out the elements.
Long raglan sleeves help give full range of movement, but backpackers praise the Hoody for its incredible packablity. The nylon/polyester/spandex fabric is as durable as it is versatile, so keep it handy for lounging around the cabin as well. Machine washable. 9.8oz
