Choose your material:
- 100% Mohair (Angora goat hair): The ultimate for glide and efficiency on cold, dry snow. Best for long-distance touring, ski mountaineering racing, and refined technique. Trade-off is less durability and reduced grip on steep, icy slopes.
- 100% Nylon (Synthetic): Maximum grip and bombproof durability. Ideal for steep climbs, pulling heavy loads (pulks), warm/wet spring snow, and skiers prioritizing traction over glide. Noticeably slower and heavier than mohair options.
- Mohair/Nylon Mix: The all-arounder, offering the best of both worlds. Blends the efficient glide of mohair with the robust grip of nylon, providing balanced performance across a wide range of terrain and conditions.
