| Ragged Mountain's Attitash Pants are Polartec® Classic 200 fleece pants with full side-zips, protected by internal wind flaps. The elastic waist (with hook-and-loop closures on each hip) makes these pants easy to slip on or off. Plus, since the side zips run the full distance from waist to cuff, you can add or shed this warm layer while still engaged in hiking or skiing; no need to remove your boots to make a quick change. The fabric traps warm air efficiently, but breathes so well that you won't feel all clammy. Got a base layer on underneath? Then consider opening the side zips part way to vent even more during those quick bursts of exertion, like on a steep uphill grade. Add a light windshell over the top when you get up higher into the winds, or to shed the powder snow when you switch from uphill to downhill mode on your Alpine-Touring ski gear. While the Attitash Pants are built as an insulating component of a hardcore layering system, the soft feel and comfy hand-warmer pockets make these versatile pants a real favorite for lounging around indoors too.
