The soft, comfortable handles are made from rolled sections of the two-inch flat webbing that encircles the whole duffel, so there are no loose ends to pull out if you overload the bag. You can stow loose maps, tickets and keys in the handy side pocket, where they're easy to grab one-handed. We've put serious two-way zippers on these Tuff Duffels, and the zipper pulls mate to accept standard TSA travel locks. Plus, there are D-rings at each end of the zipper, ready to accept the snap-hooks of the optional shoulder strap.
If you travel to the sort of places where you can count on the concierge to be gentle with your belongings, maybe you don't really need this bag.
