We only received a small ration of Polartec's® top-shelf Hardface® Power Air™ fabric, so when it came in, we put it right into the new Ravine Jacket. It's a great use of this state-of-the-art technology: the grid-spaced squares of synthetic insulation are like tiny raviolis of warmth. The Hardface® DWR finish boosts both abrasion resistance and water repellency while remaining highly breathable. The DWR Durastretch arms and shoulders really maximize flexibility when you're out in the field, and tolerate tons of abuse. 
Features of the Ravine Jacket include an extra-high collar and three zippered pockets with contrasting trim. Two more cargo pockets are hidden inside the jacket. There's elastic binding on the cuffs to keep out the elements, and it's the same on the bottom hem, which is cut just a little longer in the back.  
This is a great-looking jacket with cutting-edge fabric technology that delivers high-end performance. Grab it for those chilly days at the crag or at the jobsite. While it excels on the high peaks and on the open water, we've been known to use it at home when we're still grilling steaks out there in the snow.
