Quick Overview

The Intervale Coated Gaiter is a full 16" high to work well in deep snow. Burly 400-denier coated nylon pack-cloth is used to make this utilitarian item durable, windproof and water-resistant. Elastic at the cuff and ankle help with the fit, and there's a drawcord at the top. A full-length YKK zipper runs up the back, and the underboot cord and lace-hook keep the gaiter in place. Perfect for XC skiers, winter hikers, mail carriers, laborers, dog-walkers, shovelers, and anyone who does anything out in the snow for fun or for work.

Details

Ragged Mountain's Intervale Coated Gaiters are designed for deep snow. They're made from 400-denier coated nylon pack cloth, so you know they're totally windproof, water-resistant, and extremely durable. Elastic cuffs and ankles adjust to nearly any boot, and there are drawcord closures for the tops, and instep cords to run under your boots. Lace hooks in front help seal out the snow, and the YKK full-length access zippers run up the back, protected from the majority of abuse.
These Intervale Gaiters will complete your layering system for all sorts of winter activities: XC and backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, hunting and trapping, or even just shoveling and snowblowing. They are popular on the jobsite as well, and you'll see them in use whenever the power company sends out their crews after the big storm. Your meter-reader has some too, as those folks know what a nuisance it is to get snow packed into your boot-tops every time you hop out of the truck.
Winter hikers, mountaineers and climbers have learned that these gaiters will help protect their much-more-expensive pants from getting slashed by their own crampons. Such a small investment for such an essential piece of gear!
