Details

Ragged Mountain's Col II Jacket for Women is built from Polartec® Wind Pro® fabric for serious performance under a broad range of conditions and activities. Its tight-knit construction balances wind resistance and breathability, and the water repellency is high enough to leave your shell in your pack until it's really raining buckets. Four-way stretch means you have unrestricted movement without resorting to bagginess in the cut. The inside of the Col II is soft and comfy, so it's a great piece to add over a tank or tee.
Features of the Coll II include a sculpted, low-profile hood, drawcord waist, and wrist gaskets with thumb-holes to seal the cuffs if you're ripping through deep powder, swinging ice tools over your head, or paddling through the whitecaps. You've got nice zippered handwarmer pockets in front, a couple pouch pockets inside, and a soft windflap behind the full-length front zipper. Reinforced shoulders prevent abrasion from your pack-straps - and along with the subtly-contrasting side panels - they give the whole jacket a trim, no-nonsense look and feel.
Like a lot of your best gear, the Col II will become a favorite and versatile companion. It's all business when the conditions call for it, but a comfortable old friend when you just need to take the dogs for a run.
