Bug Net with Tie-downs

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

If you engage in heavy activity outdoors during bug season, you'll really appreciate the secure tie-downs we've added to a traditional bug net design. Just pop this roomy No-See-Um mesh bug net over your head, and tie the lightweight straps beneath your arms. We've sculpted the bottom of the Bug Net to fit comfortably over your shoulders so there's less bagginess, and the tie-downs keep things snug and secure no matter how much you're moving around.
Now you can work in the field or head out on your hike without the annoyance small villains that bite or sting.

Don't give in to the mosquitoes, black flies, horseflies, wasps and other pesky buggers that keep you indoors all spring. Ragged Mountain's Bug Net with Tie-downs will let you take back that season when you're trying to get a lot of things done outside. Our finely-woven No-See-Um netting keeps out the smallest little biters, but still give you plenty of visibility and ventilation. A twelve-inch circumference and twelve-inch height gives you lots of room inside.
To keep unwanted visitors at bay, we've added pairs of unobtrusive but secure under-the-arm tie-down straps to seal the margins of this bug net to allow you unencumbered movement and activity. Arched hems follow the contours of your shoulders to ensure a good seal without extra bagginess, but there is ample room inside the net to accommodate a cap with a visor. The goal is to make you forget you're even wearing this bug net, so you can focus on the tasks at hand.
Ask anyone who works outdoors in the springtime: wetlands scientists, powerline workers, loggers, gardeners and landscapers, arborists--these nets are part of their uniform for about two months a year. Seasoned hikers, campers, and trail-runners and mountain bikers have also caught on, of course, because nobody wants to put things on hold just because there are evil swarms about.
